Wow! This is exactly what I have been looking for! I always get hit with the whizzer uchi mata when I clinch someone with double unders. This is gold!

awesome stuff – makes perfect sense. I havent practiced this yet — is there a danger of hurting the persons knee when you press at that angle? it just looks like it might torque the knee if done wrong or too hard

No there is actually very little pressure on the knee, its an incredible amount of weight on their thigh that drops them

The One on one Q&A’s are really golden (And needed) here. Any Questions regarding angle, drive, hip’s are ironed out during these Q&A’s. You can see the effort ur putting in here Henry to get everyone to get it 💯%.It’s appreciated as im a 150lb’er and im gonna have to get this totally correct to work on a 250lb’er. I normally scoop the leg and go for a Hop (Royce V Remco UFC 2 Stylie) as i know they’ll fall eventually as the hopping circle get’s tighter and tighter. As i found that as you said, It’s too easy to get Uchi’d if you try and hamstring curl a Big Leg while they’ve turned and whizzered ur shoulder.

This way you can Connect your hip’s with there upper thigh and bring them down like a falling tree as opposed to waiting for them to pull away….

This has become my all time favorite take down over the years after learning it here. I did it to a gold medalist who was 7 inches taller than me and 50 lbs of muscle more than me too. I took him down effortlessly. You should have seen the look on his face. Priceless!
