Funny I’ve watched a lot of Ricksons rolling videos well the very few that exist lol and I first saw this in one of his when he was rolling with so many ppl back 2 back. First thing I thought was he waited for them to create the space when they attempt to pass and he would recover guard right then frustrating everyone lol I love how I’ve seen some of this before watching Rickson then the instructional by you really validates the aystem. Your amazing Henry thank you it’s been an honor and privledge being part of the club!!!
Often times the person trying to pass will press on the outside knee as they lift their hips to initiate the knee slice. What do you do in that situation?
What do you do when you follow your opponent up and he stands up as you open to recompose the guard?
Why would he stand up if he’s trying to pass the half guard. If he does this he ends up being back in the open guard, better for you.
If I had seen this years ago, it would’ve saved me a lot of work. LOL.
Better late then never!

I can sometimes use my other leg to get a hook inside as they hop up and give space
How about if the guy on top pinch his legs/knees to prevent movement? I encoutered this the other day and felt kind of stuck from the bottom. /Jesper
