Awesome. Never heard of Archie Moore before this. So Foreman learned that defense from Moore, or vice versa? Or was there a previous fighter who popularized it?
This is the most comprehensive martial arts’ curriculum I came across so far in my journey!
Analyzing defensive techniques of pro boxing legends seems like a logical and obvious thing to do if you intend to learn how to defend against the punches, yet I have never thought about it myself nor I have been introduced to this concept by any of my martial arts instructors…
Extraordinary and mind blowing as always!
Simplicity and clarity of explanations, historical context and most importantly effectiveness of those techniques and concepts separates this course from tones of other ones available on the market today.
Thank you Henry and the team for spreading this precious knowledge and keeping the science and art of jiu jitsu alive!!!!!
I’m glad you posted this. I wish we didn’t call it the “George Foreman Defense”, but instead, “The Archie Moore Defense” or “The Mongoose Defense”.
I am really liking the history aspects of going through the series.
