GM Helio did say the most important position to defend is side control. I will spend lots of time perfecting these concepts for this module. My closed guard will become more deadly because if I get passed I am getting to the top.

Me again :-) I practiced getting my shields in and then getting my frames in to get the guard back. With the shoulder forward and the knee forward, like an alligator, it seemed I was free to moved. So, I put the frame and shields in to stop my opponents movement while I shoulder escaped and it seemed reasonable to get the guard back this way. Henry, does this sound like a good strategy or should I be trying to get to the top with future videos you will show?

I prefer to be on top always if I can
