I love these closed guard chokes. These are the few submissions I do not have to open my legs to get.

Do you do your choke like this from the mount too?

    Hey Henry,
Thank you for accepting my application for the mind blowing training. I am pretty eager to start. When I clicked on the choke module it says I have to wait 18 days and 23 hours. Is this correct or is it something I’m doing wrong? Thanks.

Hi Damon, the way we designed the course is to have the content released over time so it is not overwhelming for people and gives the group an opportunity to focus on similar content so we can all provide feedback and help each other out. You should have a new video with Q&A opening up every other day. That gives people time to play around with the technique and ask questions if need be.

    Okay, I understand. Thank you.

I attempted this cross choke from close guard at 11am. today and my partner said I was very close. I was purposefully trying not to use to much strength. I would say 30% was mainly focused on trying to prevent my right hand being peeled from the collar. The left hand was low on the lapel. He doubled up on my right grip to peel it off successfully. He said just alittle more and I would have had it. That was my first and only attempt with this choke variation. I look forward to seeing this choke develop. Huge mahalo Henry I’m so excited about what I’m learning here!
