Johnny G February 20, 2017 at 4:01 pm Log in to Reply Will this method work when its completely locked in like in the video where you were teaching the RNC and could sit in their chokes calmy? In this video it seems you’re doing the defense right when the choking arm is attacking the neck. Henry A March 1, 2017 at 8:08 am Log in to Reply No, the video where I was sitting there calmly I wasn’t defending at all…. he wasn’t applying the choke correctly so I wasn’t going to tap to just being slightly uncomfortable, i’d be doing my training partner and him a disservice. sungmin c February 21, 2017 at 2:50 am Log in to Reply Wow is ths working for not only RNC also bow arrow ? Henry A March 1, 2017 at 8:05 am Log in to Reply Yup :) Carl C February 23, 2017 at 9:41 pm Log in to Reply Hey Henry, Good escape to defend the choke. Will this work if the choke is secured with the second hand? Or are you monitoring the second hand while yer escaping?? Henry A March 1, 2017 at 7:53 am Log in to Reply the head movement prevents them from having the correct connection to the neck to apply the choke but also is what you want to do prior to escaping, I can defend from the RNC most the time without using my hands, just head and body movement, but of course the hand fighting helps. Glyn P February 25, 2017 at 11:42 am Log in to Reply Henry, are you also creating an angle with your feet so that you back hits the mat at an angle? This worked amazingly well during isolation but there is a huge guy in the gym where the head positioning was not driving into or around his head. Having rewatched it again today you seem to have an angle with your feet in some instances? Henry A February 28, 2017 at 6:26 pm Log in to Reply yes, so If i’m planning on going to my right side I use I extend my left leg out further left to help me drive to get to the side better. The right leg is to help me square up the hips so I can get my back flat to the ground. You’ve heard stories of Rickson tying his hands hands in his belt and allowing people to lock in the RNC and still escape… it was because he’s so good at this movement of using his legs properly to help him get to the right angle to escape Leonard March 6, 2017 at 10:54 pm Log in to Reply Amazing! I can’t believe I’ve never seen this before!!!! Thank you! Gary U March 15, 2017 at 7:41 pm Log in to Reply This one totally gave me the mind blown effect.
