My Monday night instructor usually starts sparring with me in his half guard, if we don’t start there, I usually end up there eventually anyway. He has an amazing ability to keep my foot trapped and make it very difficult to pass using conventional methods. Last Monday I got my hip “on” his knee and shifted my weight, it collapsed his knee and opened the grip on my foot so that I was able to pass pretty easily. I think I pulled it off three times. Just use your weight and cut angles. Leave A Comment Cancel replyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
