Thank you Henry you solved a problem I stuck in long time.

Great technique however I ran into one issue with it while rolling with a more experienced opponent. While my clearing arm is flat on the floor, my opponent held it down at my wrist and then swung his leg over it to take the arm. Any thoughts…

If he’s holding your wrist there is nothing to stop you from moving and pulling your elbow to the ground

If my opponent lifts my head up how can I prevent it?

use your legs and push your head into your arm and see if they can still lift

What if they throw the other leg over to go for a triangle?

Why is the other black belt giving you the middle finger? Is he mad you escaped?
